SUMMER 'O8

Summer... What a wonderful time to spend outdoors. Whether relaxing on your lawn, soaking in the rays, or enjoying a peaceful breeze along the shore of a lake. Summer is meant for everyone.

The place that really makes me feel at ease is a small camping ground called Current Creek. Current Creek is located in Duchesne, Utah. They won't allow big motor boats which means the water is mostly peaceful, enough to see a perfect reflection. Fishing here is excellent as well.

FIRE!!! Watching a campfire is a tradition by my father and I. We sit in our chairs watching, listening to the crackling of the fire. Watching the many shapes, licking the firewood, fire makes is a sight to see. I guess you could say fire is like a snowflake. There are no ends to what shape fire can make.

There is a saying that people say all the time, and it also comes into play with regards to watching fire. Time flies while having fun. To me, you can't go wrong watching the fire spark, crackle, and engulf whatever it burns. The next morning, as the smoke rises, the smell of the freshly burned firewood on my clothes is undescribable. I absolutely love this smell. Still warm, the fire pit smokes, ready to be put to good use for delicious breakfast fish.
